Wells & Bavdi Rechagre

BY RAIN WATER HARVESTING SYSTEM

The term rain water harvesting is being frequently used these days, however the concept of rain water harvesting is not new for India. Traditional water harvesting system were Bavdi’s ,step wells , jhiri’s ,lakes etc. Water harvesting techniques had been evolved and developed centuries ago.
First time in INDIA……With keeping that in mind those old techniques we (Dips NEER Rain water harvesting co.) taken initiative of recharging dry wells and bavdi’s with the help of Rain water harvesting system and Reuse the Rain water for drinking purposes for local publics.

Here are some steps we’ve used to Recharge Dry wells (dug wells) and bavdi’s-
STEP 1- CLEANING & RENOVATION OF OLD, DRY AND BLOCKED WELLS & BAVDI’S.
STEP 2-RAIN WATER FROM ROOFTOP OF NEARBY BUILDINGS/HO– USES IS DIVERTED INTO WELLS /BAVDI’S AFTER PASSING IT THROUGH RAIN WATER HARVESTING FILTRATION PIT. (IN FILTRATION PIT RAIN WATER PASSES THROUGH 10 LAYERS STAGES) {After 1 st Rain fall season Dry Wells/bavdi’s get recharged with sufficient water}
STEP 3-WATER COLLECTED IN WELLS TRAVELLED FROM WELL TO OVERHEAD WATER TANK OUTSIDE THE WELL WITH HELP OF MOTOR.
STEP 4- WATER FROM TANKS TRANSFERRED TO WATER PURIFIERS/UV SYSTEMS/RO SYSTEMS AND THEN TO WATER COOLERS.
STEP 5-FINALLY THE RAIN WATER IS RECYCLED,WELLS ARE RECHARGED AND THE LOCAL THIRSTY PUBLIC IS DRINKING THAT RECYCLED , RE– USED & PURIFIED RAIN WATER WITH THE HELP OF WATER COOLERS.
